Radhika’s Balanced Body (RBB), brainchild of master Pilates trainer and nutritionist Radhika Karle, came into action 12 years ago. With two premier studios in Mumbai – Andheri and Parle, RBB has been featured across media platforms from Vogue to Elle to GQ to Indian Express and many more. RBB is one of very few Pilates studios in Mumbai that offers Mat, Reformer, Chair, Trapeze, MOTR, Bodhi, and Barre Pilates classes.

Since its inception RBB has gained popularity among celebrities, fitness enthusiasts, working
women and men, as well as athletes as a one stop studio for fitness and nutrition consultations.

The RBB team is personally trained by Radhika Karle, undergoing rigorous training at an international level that allows them to handle everyone from the fitness enthusiast to those requiring rehabilitation.

The Pilates philosophy and movement patterns were designed by Joseph Pilates almost 100 years ago during the First World War for soldiers and then over the years, this technique of physical fitness gained popularity by the public at large. Please note, this form of movement was created by a man for men!

Pilates develops the body uniformly, corrects the posture, restores physical vitality, invigorates the mind, and elevates the spirit – It has proved over time to benefit the body-mind-spirit. Pilates has now become a worldwide phenomenon with over 12 million people practicing, and the numbers continue to grow.

The small group size is one the biggest draws as this helps the trainer to focus on me and my fitness. I enrolled with Radhika’s Balanced Body for online Mat Pilates classes and in extraordinary times like these, am so happy that I can still stay in routine thanks to technology. Surely, working out at a physical facility is favoured and preferred but having online sessions is a comfort too. I’m training with Swapnil via a video call medium, he gives precise and clear instructions for body posture and the movement that follows along with breathing patterns and repetitions, almost similar to how he conducted the classes at a facility. In fact he gives me corrections as well because, his method is to teach with full focus on instruction. So while he teaches, he himself does not perform the exercises therefore all focus becomes the person who is seeking training. He is extremely patient and answers any query if you have. I would definitely recommend such online classes. Overall, I think this is the best setup that we can get in such times.
