About Our Founder

Radhika Karle is a Master Pilates Trainer, Pilates Educationist, Celebrity Fitness Trainer, Nutritionist and Co Author of Pure & Healthy – A Healthy Indian cook book. She is the only nutritionist in India to co-author a cook book. Radhika has a Master’s Degree (MS) from the US in Nutrition and Dietetics and a Fellowship in Adolescent and Sports Medicine.

Through the Balanced Body Pilates education program, she has trained over 150 fitness professionals and enthusiasts from all over India as well as Sri Lanka, Pakistan, the Middle East, Nepal, and Bhutan.

Radhika’s aim is to get Pilates into every household across the country as it is a form of mindful movement that she truly believes heals bodies.

Radhika moved back to India 12 years ago and began her entrepreneurial journey with Radhika’s Balanced Body, a chain of fully equipped Pilates studios across Mumbai and Hyderabad. Radhika’s clientele include select Bollywood Celebrities and host of Industry Captains.

The Pilates philosophy and movement patterns were designed by Joseph Pilates almost 100 years ago during the First World War for soldiers and then over the years, this technique of physical fitness gained popularity by the public at large.

Head Trainer at Radhika's Balanced Body

Chetan Mahadik brings over 16 years of training experience to Radhika’s Balanced Body as the Head Trainer. He started his fitness career in 2007 with the K11 personal training certification.

In 2011 Chetan went on to pursue an another certification with ACSM. And in 2016 he started the Balanced Body Pilates curriculum with Master Educator Radhika Karle.

Chetan became a Balanced Body Pilates comprehensive certified trainer in 2021, becoming one of a very few elite professionals to achieve this.

At Radhika’s Balanced Body, Chetan’s role as Head Trainer takes him to cities across the country to teach workshops, be a part of fitness expositions, and develop workshops for Radhika’s continuing education.

Chetan brings his “healthier is happier” motto to his trainings and teaching at Radhika’s Balanced Body.

Bindiya Shetty

Bindiya Shetty is a fitness enthusiast and internationally certified group exercise teacher from Reebok Instructor Alliance and personal trainer with over 25 years of experience in the fitness industry. She is one of the first in India to become a Balanced Body comprehensively certified Pilates teacher in 2019.
 
Bindiya has certifications from Schwinn indoor cycling, Pilates Institute of America, TRX Suspension training, Animal flow by Global Bodyweight Training and Movement Flow.
 
As the Head of Learning and Development at Radhika’s Balanced Body, Bindiya brings her wide variety of training techniques to the various workshops she teaches. Through a combination of mobility, strength, balance, and agility, Bindiya can create good strong movement for life which she bring to her clients’ trainings and Pilates continuing education at Radhika’s Balanced Body.
Dhiraj Bediskar is a Fitness Coach and Personal Trainer

Dhiraj Bediskar is a Fitness Coach and Personal Trainer with over 8 years of experience  in functional training (IFAA) including using Calisthenics and Kettlebells (IKFF-L1 and SF-L1) for strength and bodyweight conditioning and Animal Flow L2 (GBT). He has completed his training under Master Educator Radhika Karle and is a Balanced Body Comprehensively certified Pilates teacher.In 2019 Dhiraj was the Fitness Custodian for Shilpa Shetty’s Simple and Soulful app where he utilised his fitness and production expertise to guide the pre-shoot planning of programs and worked post-shoot with the edit team.Dhiraj is an avid climber, mountaineer, half marathon runner and obstacle course racer. Dhiraj blends his various areas of fitness expertise in which his training focuses on form, technique, breath, and flow.

Tavishi Vajpeyi is a Balanced Body Pilates comprehensive certified trainer with teaching experience of over 5 years.

Tavishi Vajpeyi is a Balanced Body Pilates comprehensive certified trainer with teaching experience of over 5 years. Her journey in fitness began at a young age with her passion for sports and outdoor adventure – from hiking and skiing to exploring the depths of the ocean as a certified PADI open water scuba diver. Tavishi’s outdoor pursuits inspire her commitment to strong, powerful movements that enhance strength, balance and stability as she wishes for all her students to enjoy life to the fullest.With a BSc in Environmental Biology, Tavishi merges her interests in human biology and sustainability to promote a holistic lifestyle, especially to help educate her clients on what we put into our body and where it comes from. Her commitment to continuing education doesn’t stop there, she is currently pursuing a Post Graduate Diploma in Nutrition and Dietetics.

Dr Nidhi Kapadi, a licensed Physiotherapist is Radhika’s Balanced Body’s in house physiotherapist in Mumbai. She has over 6 years of experience in helping patients achieving optimal physical function and wellness.Nidhi has over 3 years of experience in rehab Pilates and successfully uses the Pilates method with her clients for a wide range of issues from cervical spondylitis to osteoarthritis. Nidhi’s expertise lies in Kinetic control, dry needling, and taping. She is a Balanced Body certified Pilates and MOTR teacher.Nidhi loves combining her physiotherapy skills and expertise with Pilates to fulfil her motto of “keeping everyone fit and pain-free”!

Sriguru Ghadi is a fitness professional with a unique blend of experience and certifications. Sriguru spent over 2 years in children’s fitness, learning the art of patience while blending movement with fun. He started his Pilates career over 2 years ago with Master Educator Radhika Karle and is a comprehensively certified Balanced Body teacher.Sriguru’s certifications include Balanced Body Certified MOTR Trainer, ACE Certified PT, Hyperice SMR + Vibration Technology Course Level 1, TRX Suspension Training, and European Register of Exercise Professionals (EREPS) Certified PT Level 4.With his diverse background and certifications, Sriguru is dedicated to providing innovative and effective fitness solutions for his clients. He uses all these various techniques in helping his wide variety of clientele to achieve strength, flexibility, balance and control.

Aayaat Ali brings 18 years of training experience to Radhika’s Balanced Body with a wide variety of trainings – from Strong by Zumba to functional training to MOTR training.

Aayaat Ali brings 18 years of training experience to Radhika’s Balanced Body with a wide variety of trainings – from Strong by Zumba to functional training to MOTR training. He started Pilates journey with Master Educator Radhika Karle at the beginning of 2023 and is a comprehensively certified Balanced Body teacher. Aayaat’s focus is to help create opportunities for EVERYONE to move more and live longer, healthier, and happier lives.

Sonal embarked on her fitness journey initially as an aerobics instructor in 2013, where she discovered her passion for movement  and health. Transitioning into an administrative role at RBB provided her with valuable insights into the operational side of the industry. However her true passion remained in teaching movement and working directly with clients. Sonal is now working towards her Balanced Body comprehensive Pilates certification with Master Educator Radhika Karle. 
Sonal blends her expertise of aerobic training with a focus on core strength and flexibility. Her journey has demonstrated a dedication to lifelong learning in the field of wellness. Her passion for fitness helps to ensure her clients achieve their full potential.
 
Our Trainer, Priti Sawant has 14 years of experience in the fitness industry. Priti uses the Pilates techniques and movement to help her client’s with weight management and injury recovery.

Priti Prakash Sawant has 14 years of experience in the fitness industry. She has completed her certifications in yoga, functional training, CrossFit, and personal training.Through her own practice, Priti has seen the immense power of Pilates and how when combined with traditional weight training, can really help build better strength and mobility. Priti uses the Pilates techniques and movement to help her client’s with weight management and injury recovery.

Dr Sonali Deshpande, PT, DPT is Radhika’s Balanced Body’s in house physiotherapist and Pilates trainer at The Quorum Hyderabad.

Dr Sonali Deshpande, PT, DPT is Radhika’s Balanced Body’s in house physiotherapist and Pilates trainer at The Quorum Hyderabad. She has done her Balanced Body Pilates courses with Master Educator, Radhika Karle.Sonali has completed her Bachelor’s in Physiotherapy from Dr NTR University, Andhra Pradesh in 2019 and Doctorate of Physical Therapy from University of Montana, USA in 2022. She completed her credentials in Kineo taping and IASTM and is a Certified Orthopaedic Manual Therapist.She has experience in managing patients with traumatic brain injuries and strokes, and she has expertise in neurorehabilitation. Sonali has also served as a mentor for doctoral degree students from the University of Montana’s India cohort.Her love of movement sciences and rehabilitation led to her specializing in Pilates. Sonali uses her expertise to handle clients musculoskeletal injuries and helps them to achieve their fitness goals.

Apurva has over 7 years of expertise in the field of fitness. Through her signature regression to progression techniques, Apurva is able to get all her clients to reach their fitness goals.

She began her Pilates experience at NSCI Worli and is currently working towards her Balanced Body comprehensive Pilates certificate with Radhika’s Balanced Body under Master Educator Radhika Karle.Through her signature regression to progression techniques, Apurva is able to get all her clients to reach their fitness goals. Apurva’s focus is to create workout programs that promote physical and emotional wellness.

Lalita More brings over 18 years of training experience to team Radhika’s Balanced Body. She was a national level gymnast and also awarded Maharashtra’s most prestigious Shiv Chhatrapati Award in 2002

She was a national level gymnast and also awarded Maharashtra’s most prestigious Shiv Chhatrapati Award in 2002.Lalita began her journey in fitness as a personal trainer and then over 10 years ago got certified as a Les Mills Body Balance and Body Pump group class instructor. She is now working towards her Comprehensive Balanced Body Pilates certification with Master Educator Radhika Karle.Lalita’s motto is to live fitter, healthier, and happier.
